Favorite Frameworks / Use Cases For Java (Not Web Dev)?
Some times ago, I've written a performance collector (like collectd) in Java. To do it, I've contributed at OSHI library. Today, I write mostly microservices using Quarkus or Javalin + JDBI frameworks

I just released my first open source project called Josi! It's a simple library designed to make working with operating systems easier. Please check it out if you're interested!
Pretty neat little project and actually solves a lot of my specific needs without including bigger libraries or writing everything myself. I don't have any useful feedback but you could take a look at Oshi (https://github.com/oshi/oshi) for how some other OSes are handled and what identifiers are being looked at. Nice work!

Is there any cross-platform system/process monitoring library?
I want this app to work on Linux, macOS and Windows so I need a cross-platform solution. I searched for libraries but the only one I could find is sigar, which hasn't been updated since 2016, has lost its online doc (website down) and has no doc embedded in the repo, has to be patched to build on my Linux system, etc. I'm sure that with time I can make it work but I would definitely prefer a library in a better shape.
