Is it feasible to learn javascript for a single project?
"I've been using this chrome extension (https://github.com/opus1269/screensaver) for several years. I'm a photographer and I've been using this screen saver to display photos from my Google Photos albums. It also supports other sources, like Flickr, Unsplash, and Reddit, which continue to work. Unfortunately, the developer passed away and it is no longer supported and has been removed from the chrome store. Instead of displaying the Google Photo albums, it generates an error. When this problem occurred years ago (not displaying Google Photos albums), I think the developer quickly fixed it by updating for a change to Google's API. Are there any javascript developers here with the requisite experience that might be able to update this app?"
