As is often the case, you can refer to existing resource packs that have enchantment-specific textures. There is also Optifine documentation online, such as here and here.

i dogged a bit on optifine’s emissive properties too but it seems there is no such feature as to change the texture

Why does my turtle not connect to the disk drive?
Do you have Optifine installed? There is currently a bug with Optifine which breaks CC peripherals (and many other mods). I'd recommend removing it for the time being.

If you use a mod that messes with rendering and is clearly marked as "Preview version", and then get a rendering issue, please look at the bugtracker of that mod yourself next time. Here is the relevant bug report: https://github.com/sp614x/optifine/issues/7410

There is an example for bow stuff in the CIT documentation here: https://github.com/sp614x/optifine/blob/master/OptiFineDoc/doc/cit_single.properties (Use Ctrl+F to find "bow", then look for the example with the models)

What alternatives do I have? Performance - Useful mods - Performance Dynamic Lighting - Lucent Zoom - Ez Zoom Shaders - Vanilla based Fabulous graphics shaders (Resource Pack) or Oculus (works with existing shaders)

If you wanna start with something simple, switch to Fabulous graphics (comes after Fancy graphics in the video settings) and take packs like Fabulous HDR and bradleyq's Vanilla Shaders for a spin.

Is it possible for shaders to be in resource pack?
