The following are some of the most common extension types on the Visual Studio Code Marketplace and Open VSX Registry, an open-source, community-driven extension registry for Visual Studio Code (VS Code) extensions.
-

MSFT is forcing Outlook and Teams to open links in Edge and IT admins are angry
I didn't know about https://open-vsx.org/. Very nice! But besides those languages, they are also missing things like the remote ssh extension, which is a big deal breaker for me (and I assume many others regardless of language).
-
Anki Editor - An extension for Visual Studio Code to edit card templates with syntax highlighting and intellisense
Any chance you could publish it to Open VSX as well, for the people not using the Microsoft version?

How to Build and Document a Go REST API with Gin and Go-Swagger
Our API is now ready for testing. We can use different API methods to test the functionality and behavior of the API including cURL and Postman. For this, we will use a vscode extension called ThunderClient. If using a different text editor, Postman is similar and can be used in place of ThunderClient.

Installing extensions from the VSC marketplace
Hi, how do I install Visual Studio Code extensions in Onivim2? I have downloaded a couple of extensions from the marketplace. I am using Windows; Onivim2 is in the PATH. The problem is that even using the CLI, the extensions are not installing. Is there a workaround for this? Do I have to extract the contents from the VSIX file? Just for more clarity, here are the extensions I am trying to add: Quokka, Thunder & Brackets.
