Part-DB is an Open-Source (AGPL 3.0) inventory managment system with a focus on electronic components (but can be used for other things too). How to assign internal part numbers?
For my hobby electronics organization i use Part-DB (https://github.com/Part-DB/Part-DB-symfony), which for the newer version i have developed in big parts myself. But there are many other free and non-free inventory management systems with specialization on electronics parts, for example Partkeepr, partsbox.io or EleLa

You can try InevnTree or Part-DB. There are mostly aimed for labs to track the small electronics (like resistors) but should also work fine for your case.
