The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Dynamic USB assignment of printers in Docker image?
And my 71-octoprint.docker.rules sourced from this piece of documentation where /dev/byregot_temp is where the printer is to be mounted in the container.

test
I have a host machine with Docker that I would like to control two printers over USB using the Docker image. The printers won't always be powered, and when they're on, won't necessarily be on at the same time/powered in the same order. This results in them being mounted to different locations depending on which is powered first. I have been looking through similar posts such as this and this which had some great answers from the maintainer of the image.

[Guide/Tutorial:] One Pi to Rule Them All: Multi-Instance & 'Dual-Use' OctoPrint Using Docker, Docker Compose, & Portainer
OctoPrint is not designed to be used as outlined in this tutorial as such there are known issues; refer here for documentation. Furthermore, since this is an unsupported configuration do NOT contact the developers of OctoPrint nor those of your printer's firmware with troubleshooting or bug reporting. Think of it this way, imagine you paid for OctoPrint or some really awesome community firmware and it came with a lifetime warranty, by proceeding with this guide you would be voiding that warranty. But, guess what? You did not and it does not so you have less than zero right to ask for, much less expect any level of support from them. That said, should you have issues I will try my best to help, but I am not a linux Yoda, I'm not even a bash Grogu (I'm just a random self-taught internet dude with slightly below average intelligence who fancies bending machines to his will like Professor Xavier does minds; SkyNet will find no quarters on my networks or devices!) so it's best to continue with the mindset that basically you're on your own from here on out. If anything I say is imprecise or inaccurate, please kindly let me know and I will make the appropriate edits.

Why is my directory list showing up on the web browser (localhost)?
This is a function of the apache configuration files. You should examine those and determine what the issue is, using the xampp gui which will let you edit the httpd.conf file, or whatever it is that xampp uses. xampp provides the default settings you need, so I highly doubt this is the issue, but there is a directive called DirectoryIndex that tells apache what files to search for when a url points to a directory. By default that is going to include index.php. So if that is not working, then there is possibly something else going on with the apache config. To figure this all out you really have to understand how the various possible configuration options work. I don't use xampp so I can't tell you with certainty what the defaults are, but directives like Directory, VirtualHost, DocumentRoot etc, can all be used and combined in different ways to create different outcomes. For example, whether or not an index even appears (in the absence of an index.php) is configurable, as is whether or not you can override settings in a .htaccess file. I'm guessing you might be running xampp under windows, and this is yet another reason why in the era of containers, it's just better to use virtualization or containerization rather than something like xampp. As it sounds like you are still in learning mode, it's not too late to turn your attention to something like docker with https://laradock.io/

Using Docker to Containerize Laravel Apps for Development and Production
First, we will use Laravel Sail to run the application locally on our dev environment. There are unofficial Docker environments for Laravel like Laradock but Sail is the official docker dev environment for Laravel. Sail is is a wrapper on top of docker compose.
