    I went here: https://github.com/Oncorporation/obs-shaderfilter and found the Releases section on the right hand sidebar. Then I opened the Assets section and got the windows zip file. With OBS Studio updated and closed, I was able to drag and drop the contents of the zipped folder in there to overwrite some of the files in C:\Program Files\obs-studio -- just drag and drop once, you have to know where to get the zip file and where to extract it, but that's it. Just select your source in OBS, and you should be able to configure filters for that source with a button beneath the preview window.

    If you going for the effect I think this is actually a shader filter using a dot matrix shader and a sans serif font.
