Issues with OBS on M1 Max MBP
Have you searched /OBS for install guides that target Rosetta on M1 Macs specifically? I'm running 4 x 1080P web cams no problems on M1 Macbook Pro Max. Will see if I can find the install guide but in the meantime, there's a thread here you may want to take a look at: https://github.com/carlosonunez/obs-installer-for-apple-silicon

Apple contributes to OBS to support screen capture using ScreenCaptureKit
I want to know if they’re using Rosetta on their M1 test machine or running it natively. Hopefully this patch leads to a proper darwin/arm64 release so I don’t have to use this weird fork[0] with a private GitHub Action to get a native build. The Rosetta version is considerably slower.

Best OBS settings for streaming off Air M1?
Currently there’s no official release of native build for arm, but you can build it yourself. This can reduce cpu usage by like 60%. https://github.com/carlosonunez/obs-installer-for-apple-silicon In advance options you can choose hardware encoder, that can reduce cpu usage to less than 50%.
