I was hoping to use nvim-treesitter-textobjects to jump to the next argument via something like this:

I'm aware of nvim-treesitter-textobjects and I suspect my answer lies in this plugin, but is there a way to move between root nodes that is agnostic of the node type?

Have a look at https://github.com/nvim-treesitter/nvim-treesitter-textobjects. Set up the @block.inner and @block.outer textobjects and it should work.

nvim-treesitter-textobjects lets you jump to (for instance) functions more accurately than with a regex-based approach using ]f

Or even better, one can use nvim-treesitter-textobjects. It already provides function/class selection and go-to functionality out-of-the-box.

iswap.nvim: Swap argument with treesitter.

[iswap.nvim](https://github.com/mizlan/iswap.nvim) is a plugin for swapping things around interactively in your buffer (powered by tree-sitter). Since the start I've entertained the idea of a post-operation highlight flash that confirms the operation, since otherwise it is sometimes hard to tell what you just did (to make sure you did it correctly). Also, you can arbitrarily swap sibling nodes too now, thanks to a PR by u/JoseConseco_ !

Btw, I found the queries from https://github.com/mizlan/iswap.nvim helpful in implementing this approach. (For example I found (variable_list (_) @swappable) was not covered in your lua queries. Once again thanks, this is great fun!
