Plugin Authors: lazy.nvim now supports `build.lua`
Also A LOT of very widely used and popular plugins like plenary.nvim or even neorg are already providing a rockspec file. There are also tools to help adopting this proposal, like rockspec generators for the plugin repositories and some work going on under the hood to make a rockspec for almost every plugin in existence thanks to a public database that we made (at first with another purpose on mind tho).

Using the vim-mergetool plugin ( https://github.com/cynix/vim-mergetool ) with a shortcut to toggle the base view was what made it bearable, if not better than VSCode or Idea, to me in neovim. Sadly it doesn't have some smart conflict resolution that is aware of the program like Idea...
