Researching Lispy Neovim
There's also gpanders/nvim-moonwalker, which advertises Fennel in it's readme but works for any x->lua language you return the lua code for, ie: teal, moonscript, uh... others?
- Swapping to Fennel

Fennel configs - What have your experiences been? What library are you using and why?
I used Hotpot for ~a year or so and loved it. I recently discovered https://github.com/gpanders/nvim-moonwalk as an even more minimalist option.

Hotter Hotpot: bytecode cache beta branch
moonwalk which supports Fennel by way of supporting any x → lua language. Not sure if it tracks dependency changes when recompiling though* as it's a more generic solution.

Is it possible to configure neovim with teal instead of lua?
https://github.com/gpanders/nvim-moonwalk allows you to use any language that compiles to Lua.

My thoughts about editors in 2022
I wouldn't say that a hyperextensible text editor has a narrow scope. It does everything from managing git history to playing Tetris.
-
Can vim become an emacs or is it already one or not?
With neovim I think its only a matter of time until neovim catches up with emacs. People have some crazy programs, see: https://github.com/nvim-neorg/neorg and https://github.com/alec-gibson/nvim-tetris (the latter is written in fennel too!).

Well, NeoVim is better than VSCode in many aspects... E.g. The Tetris-Suite :)
