To make our development process easier and ensure a polished user interface, we'll use Nuxt UI, a comprehensive UI library designed specifically for NuxtJS applications. By incorporating Nuxt UI, we can rapidly build our link shortener app with pre-built, high-quality components, aligning with Supabase's motto: "Build in a weekend, scale to millions."

Nuxt is an appealing framework to work with, partly because of its robust module ecosystem. Popular UI libraries, headless CMS tools, and databases can be easily integrated with a single line of code. Among other third-party modules, Nuxt Image, Nuxt Content, and Nuxt UI are some of the official modules developed by the Nuxt team.

I tried a few, and so far the most promising one has been Nuxt UI but it doesn't seem mature enough yet.

tailwindcss is a fairly solid choice. It's quite popular in its own right, NuxtLabs UI was just announced, and if you've got the coin, tailwindui provides some solid templates as well. It's all the same utility classes underneath, so it dovetails fairly decently.

Side Note: Nuxt Content uses unstorage under the hood to make this possible. Other types of drivers can be configured according to the unstorage documentation.

Last week, my first actual contribution into a public open source project has been merged. Its actually only a small changes into Unstorage library, which is used by Nitros server engine, which in turn used by the popular NuxtJs framework. At the time, I was stuck in one of my side project which used Nuxt because Unstorage is lacking some functionalities that I need. However because Unstorage is 2 layers deep in the dependency tree, its not trivial for me to change the code there.

The unstorage solution is a unified and powerful Key-Value (KV) interface that allows combining drivers that are either built-in or can be implemented via a super simple interface and adding conventional features like mounting, watching, and working with metadata.
