devtools VS ui

The (devtools)[https://devtools.nuxt.com/] I want to talk about shortly are the (Nuxt)[https://nuxt.com/] devtools which are I would say by a landslide the best devtools out there. You don't need to trust me, just try it out, get a basic nuxt app running, open devtools, go to modules, add tailwind, maybe add an API route and play around with the dev tools a bit. I'm pretty confident in saying that it's the best experience out there in JS land, and belive it or not, the plan is to make it vue/nuxt agnostic, so it might become something react, svelte etc devs would enjoy in the future

Nuxt 3 got released a few months ago but the tool I was the most curious about remained unreleased. Until now! Today, the Nuxt team has announced the release of Nuxt DevTools! The previous version of Nuxt didn't have the dedicated devtools specifically for Nuxt so I was even more curious. The tool is still in beta but it's ready to test with the freshly released Nuxt 3.2 and I have to tell you something: it's absolutely gorgeous!

To make our development process easier and ensure a polished user interface, we'll use Nuxt UI, a comprehensive UI library designed specifically for NuxtJS applications. By incorporating Nuxt UI, we can rapidly build our link shortener app with pre-built, high-quality components, aligning with Supabase's motto: "Build in a weekend, scale to millions."

Nuxt is an appealing framework to work with, partly because of its robust module ecosystem. Popular UI libraries, headless CMS tools, and databases can be easily integrated with a single line of code. Among other third-party modules, Nuxt Image, Nuxt Content, and Nuxt UI are some of the official modules developed by the Nuxt team.

I tried a few, and so far the most promising one has been Nuxt UI but it doesn't seem mature enough yet.

tailwindcss is a fairly solid choice. It's quite popular in its own right, NuxtLabs UI was just announced, and if you've got the coin, tailwindui provides some solid templates as well. It's all the same utility classes underneath, so it dovetails fairly decently.
