Lecture timings are already fixed. You need to bid for tutorial slots on 15 august. You can check lecture timings and tutorial timings available for all your mods on nusmods.com and play around with the different slots to see which timetable would best suit you.

As an incoming freshman I was pondering on the question on module planning for some time, and I understand the lack of APIs, "veracity", maintainers for nusmods to create like "recommended" module plans for different courses as discussed in issue #359.

NUSMods should be updated with available modules and schedules within the week in preparation for the upcoming CourseReg. Outcome will release on 3 July.

you do have to take the chs writing mod for FASS majors (FAS1101) but i don't think it will cover lit. HSI1000 (scientific inquiry 1) will cover some aspects of biodiversity, and there are many HSI20xx mods (scientific inquiry 2) for you to choose your preferred topic of science. the descriptions for all these mods can be found on nusmods.com :) happy to help!

Just wanted to ask if there is any website/portal (something like https://nusmods.com) available to check course details e.g. prerequisites, workload details (e.g. 2hr lecture 1hr tutorial per wk), timetable slots, assessment methods and weightage, weekly topics covered (especially for Operations Management and Management Science courses) and textbooks used. I tried to find on Smith's website but I could only get the course details :(

Timetables are self-planned and vary based on modules. You can check out all the modules at nusmods.com. Modules are mostly back in-person so remote options would likely not be available. You will likely have to miss those lessons and leniency vary from prof to prof (tbh there is little repercussions at most you will lose class participation marks + content which is limited in W1)

As with any technology, implementing micro-frontends poses challenges, such as ensuring consistent APIs. But, with tools like Piral, developers can easily create and scale micro-frontend applications.

Piral: implements isolated components called pilets. Pilets are modules that bundle content and behavior.

I've prepared a demo project on the basis of Piral. The running demo can be found at the Piral samples organization on GitHub. Running the demo locally does not look very spectacular.

The idea of writing a book about micro frontends was born in mid 2019 when Piral was born out of smapiot's open-source efforts. We've been leading and assisting to micro frontend implementations for a while, and our intention was to put together an (almost) ideal pattern into an open-source framework.

Therefore, for the example, I've picked a rather fancy way to "loosely" get the micro frontends at runtime using a file called feed.json, which is created at build-time using the information which micro frontends (called pilets in this case, because I am using the Piral framework) are actually available. Therefore, just adding, e.g., a third micro frontend easily works without touching the app-shell package.
