Anyone use an app to track mood/symptoms?
Nomie 5 is realllyyyy fantastic. It was going to be shut down but the author made it open to the public, so I even host a copy of the app myself. GitHub has a functional link for the app. Basically you can track anything you want and in what way you want it. Count, amount, time, timer, range values, units. Can connect tags. Like say for example I wanted to track my HR. I could put the amount of (my normal is 95) - 95, and could add a tag like (sitting down, eating, was with person x, did y activity). So point being is, if you can think of it, you can track it. So currently I have one for mood, anxiety, stress, brushing teeth, showering, motivation, sex drive, taking daily meds, irritability, etc. After a few months I got me some awesome data. https://github.com/open-nomie/nomie5

Here is one you could use as a journal: https://nomie.app It is a PWA (not an iOS or Android app). Data exists only on the device you are using (syncing might be coming in the future).

Ten Years of Logging My Life
I've been tracking my daily activities in detail for 5 years now and I greatly appreciate the insights it provides into my own behavior and health. I love reading these kinds of articles to see that I'm not alone in this particular obsession and also for tips on how other people do it.
For my system I have repurposed Org Mode's clocking feature and run a dedicated Emacs instance in a terminal window. I then have a bunch of R scripts for visualizations: https://github.com/he-sk/timelog
The main disadvantage is that I need to enter activities manually when I have been away from the computer. I just save notes in my smartphone but it's a bit annoying.
