Some advice
https://nierrein.guide/ is a great resource, but if you don't know what you're looking for it won't be of much help to you
-
Question tier characters
Don’t use tier lists. https://nierrein.guide is the best resource for any of your specific costume questions. Focus on archetypes and element affinity. Each challenge has an opposite element it is weak against, and there are elemental specialist costumes that fall neatly into these roles. There are also generally good damage and support type costumes that are not locked to any specific element but are conditional instead. Think 2B or Celebratory Yurie. These do increased damage with their character skills based of non-element conditions. Healers are generally useful across elements, and investing in a top-tier one of theses will do wonders for your account. When choosing a character, pay close attention to their character skills as well as their passive abilities. This is the best way to choose, and depending on the needs of your account, these needs won’t entirely align with others. Good luck and fire back if you have specific questions.

Hidden Stories
Thanks a lot! Yeah, I'm thinking of adding them to the NieR wikia, as it already contains a bunch of the Hidden Stories. https://nierrein.guide/ doesn't seem to contain a section for thie Hidden Stories.

Oh my god the amount of free stuff we just got. 9 pages, 99+ items??
nierrein.guide has all the weapon/character/record stories (here). Youtube has all the gameplay of the main story chapters, which is mostly just walking around and clicking on stuff. That's 99% of all the lore in this game. The actual playing of this game is just autobattle 1000x of each record event (literally, not exaggerating). Play this game if you find you enjoy it, but the lore is already as extracted as it's going to be, even if the game goes down.

👀 Looking for people willing to collaborate on open-source projects. (TypeScript, React, Vue, NextJS, Rust, ML, NER, NLP devs needed)
- neuwiki: a different approach to a wiki. All sections are pages by themselves, which makes embedding sections on multiple pages easier (for pages about similar topics or for a pages in a different languages). I'm building it because I've long wanted to create an open-source, open-data/open-knowledge website with detailed information about influencers (something like wikipedia.org + famousbirthdays.com, but better). It's in very early stage! No front-end yet, back-end in NextJS. You can find it on Github (github.com/mbledkowski/neuwiki)
