nice-modal-ts VS nice-modal-react

I'm still pretty new to TypeScript and I've run into a snag I don't know how to fix. I'm using a package called nice-modal-react for my modal handler. First, I create the modal component called CreateTodoModal which basically just has a button that resolves a dummy Todo. Then, I have the App component which calls show() on the modal. When show() resolves it should log out the new Todo created in the modal.

You might want to look into eBay/nice-modal-react. This package was made to ease working with modals in React and solves cases such as yours. If you want to implement it yourself then look into portals in React.
