Active health checks in open source nginx upstream
We are using the open source nginx as a reverse proxy for our web applications. The paid open nginx plus has option for active health checks for specifying an endpoint URI in the upstream. I was wondering if the community has come up with a solution (through any third party integration) to achieve the same through the open source version of the nginx. The most promising option seems to be nginx_upstream_check_module but seems like it is not compatible with the latest version of nginx 1.19.x.
