Is it possible to create an environment agnostic build where variables are substituted during deployment?
I created a build once deploy many times Vue 3/Vite app. It was designed as a proof of concept for Docker containers running in Kubernetes system. The Node server injects the .env variables into the HTML at runtime. https://github.com/mbokil/vue3-vite-containerized-app

What are some open source projects that use Vue well?
I have a project I was working on at work that I released as open source. It allows you to share your .env app property files with the UI and server. It supports docker containers too. Released a new version of my Vue3/Vite 3/Docker reference app
I was looking for a way to build my Vue 3 app once with Vite and then run it in a Docker container. Tricky part is I wanted the UI and the Node server to both share one .env config file. This way you can move the Docker image to any environment and point the image at a different .env file and your app endpoints will change without having to rebuild your image.
