NestJS did not care about numerous gross mistakes in the tests
And what did I see in the tests of this module? - "Horror!" Because of this I opened the corresponding issue on github. Tests are not just written with small inconspicuous mistakes, such as the lack of await before expect(), there is generally a hell of a lot, and in almost all tests.

Setting Up Sessions with NestJS, Passport, and Redis
Like most @nestjs/ packages, the @nestjs/passport package is mostly a thin wrapper around passport, but Nest does do some cool things with the passport package that I think are worth mentioning. First, the AuthGuard mixin. At first glance, this mixin may look a little intimidating, but let's take it chunk by chunk.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing jwt and passport you can also consider the following projects:
aws-jwt-verify - JS library for verifying JWTs signed by Amazon Cognito, and any OIDC-compatible IDP that signs JWTs with RS256, RS384, and RS512
passport-magic-login - Passwordless authentication with magic links for Passport.js.
