nest-next-example VS Nest

This post is a continuation of Nest.js + Next.js series and it fixes a big issue I left in the code in the second article. While I will be using the project from those articles this article is not specific neither to Nest.js nor to Next.js. The goal of this article is to tell a story how I managed to improve a Node application perfomance multifold and share my experience on how to profile complex perfomance issues and make sure they do not return.

This post is a translation of the original articles by me on Habr. The translation had no input from experienced tech writers or editors. So any feedback towards correcting any mistakes is greatly appreciated.

When using the NestJS framework, sometimes you may need to change some default timeout. You can define them just like you'd do in a plain Node.js HTTP server like so:

Pragmatically, we can apply this to a Nest application by creating an Interface for our services, separating the Presenter layer (Controller) from the Use Case (Services):

In my usual NodeJS tech stack, which includes GraphQL, NestJS, SQL (predominantly PostgreSQL with MikroORM), I encountered these limitations. To overcome them, I've developed a new stack utilizing Rust, which still offers some ease of development:
