The fee estimation you're seeing on multidoge.org may be incorrect. I downloaded and opened the wallet myself and I'm actually getting a, "Warning: fee estimation is currently not possible" message. Note that the prices of network fees are universal and correlate with general network congestion/inputs. The only way you would pay more or less for fees is if your wallet also charges you fees for sending or receiving; Exodus does not.

You really shouldn't be using Multidoge!!! But, if you really have to, try downloading the platform-agnostic executable jar (multidoge-exe-full.jar) from the v0.1.7 release page

You can either use a lite wallet such as http://multidoge.org which works similarly to the standard wallet available at dogecoin.com except it does not have to sync, making it more hassle-free. However, some people prefer the interface of the original dogecoin client.

Looking into this a bit more, it seems like there's a newer fork of pywallet with a balance option, and a web option of some kind, available here: https://github.com/jackjack-jj/pywallet

your best bet is to get https://github.com/jackjack-jj/pywallet to extract the public and private keys.
