multiconnect VS meteor-client

Multiconnect (allows you to connect to any mc version)

1.8 is terribly outdated. I use a mod called multiconnect that makes servers think that I am playing on 1.8 and which adds back all the stuff like sword blocking. The mod isn't yet very stable so I am risking getting banned but I don't care.

It might be those extra mods, because sodium + meteor on the latest patch works for me. You could also try an older build, this dev build 1815 works with iris, maybe 1816+ also breaks some of those other mods.

there is a ton of free. I personally prefer meteor (https://meteorclient.com) and use it on my everyday build I also remember LiquidBounce, Lambda, Salhack and Kami Blue (all for 1.12.2)
