mpv_thumbnail_script VS ModernX

Hi! Are there anyone here who uses this script? I tried to do everything according to the guide written in the readme, but it never worked for me. To be more precise, for example, the folder for scripts I did not have at all, and I tried to create it in different places and add these two .lua scripts. That didn't make them work either. There was no preview and still no preview. Maybe someone can tell me how to fix it (preferably in detail, because I just recently started my acquaintance with mpv), or offer another solution to my request (although I myself have not found anything else, except this github) Thank you in advance for your help!

Earlier i used this lua script for thumbnail preview that didnt worked link. neither did it worked by hovering over timeline nor by shift+t and reported 'Thumbnailing unavailable'

The latest release of mpv_thumbnail_script doesn't have the bugfix. Grab my copy of it which I've patched with the upstream fix.

I've only managed to run thumbnails from local files with this lua script. However, I am struggling to make it work with youtube streams.

The versions in my post are from a fork with a fix for this issue. I'm not sure if the new version on the wiki contain these patches.

I am using this mpv-osc-modern and the icons and progress bar are really small. I can't figure out how to do make them bigger. I know modernx has bigger buttons but I don't really want use it because

as mention on modernx github here but unable to do that.

The autoload script can be used to start the next episode. For frontends I think ModernX might be what you're looking for.

mpv.io with modernX UI using DX3D11

+1 mpv.net with custom flags for vpx, av1, E-AC3, Dolby, etc implementation. and ModernX UI cuz why not.

MordenX, fork with some changes.

There is also mpv.net for Windows which is compatible with mpv configurations and settings. You can also change the osd for regular mpv or mpv.net too. I use MordenX.
