sub-skip, they're two scripts download the sub-skip.lua file and paste in the /mpv/scripts folder then if you want to activate it just pres Ctrl+n

How do I get the 'delete-current-file.lua' script to work in mpv on GNU/Linux?
May I redirect you to another Lua script? It's called delete_file.lua. I use it daily and it is one of my most used scripts.
