The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

simplehistory.lua: stores whatever you open in a history file, handy to quickly go back to something played previously.

acompressor.lua: compressor. blur-edges.lua: fills the black bars on the side of a video with a blurred copy of its edges. createchapter.lua: self-explanatory. crop.lua: crop video in a visual manner. encode.lua: make an extract of the video currently playing using ffmpeg. reload.lua: reloads videos if an online video stops caching. seek-to.lua: go to timestamp. simplehistory.lua: stores whatever you open in a history file. skiptosilence.lua: skip past "previously on...". smartcopypaste_ii.lua: copy/paste links sponsorblock.lua: skip sponsors in yt videos. streamsave.lua: save looped section to a separate file. subit.lua: download subtitles to playing video. uosc.lua: feature-rich minimalist proximity-based ui (my fav!). webm.lua: similar to encode.lua but with more features and no external dependencies. webtorrent-mpv-hook: enable mpv to stream torrents using webtorrent. youtube-quality.lua: change quality of currently playing yt video.

smartcopypaste and simplehistory - copy/paste urls from/to mpv, and have a history of watched content.

First time with mpv and facing some problems.
I got it to work after coming across the fact that it was a bad release and following /u/digwhoami 's advice of grabbing the RAW ASCII of the .lua and .conf files.

how do I select SDH sub automatically in mpv?
If you don't have to deal with multiple languages then https://github.com/po5/trackselect works. But in case SDH is not available for your preferred language but is present for another language then it will select that unfortunately.
- Have a near-deaf friend who wants mpv to autoselect SDH subtitle tracks by default each time. What's the easiest way to do that?

Why do lots of encoders use Sign and Songs as default?
Basically, you need a way to differentiate signs and full subs so that your player can autopick based on your preference. This can be done by marking them as different languages - jpn/eng, eng/zxx, enm/eng etc. or tagging both as eng but marking the signs track as "forced" to signify that it goes with the eng audio. Given that most people fail at this basic task, you can use this - https://github.com/po5/trackselect on mpv to fix the issue to a certain extent.

I am also using Trackselect in order not bother with manually selecting tracks in videos which have multiple audio and video tracks.
