How to handle VAT/tax invoices for every purchase from my web app?
I live in Belgium and I am a professional web developer. I'm about to release a web application where users can purchase credits. And they can spend those credits for in-app purchases. My users can be from anywhere across the world. It doesn’t matter whether they are consumers/private persons without a business/tax-or VAT number or businesses with tax-or VAT number. And invoices should be generated and sent to users for every purchase. When it comes to handling payments, I am planning to use Mollie. It is an alternative to Stripe. Anyone who knows how to handle these administrative tasks in regards to tax/VAT invoices? Is there a third party service that I can rely on and integrate it into my web app?
- Ask HN: What are some low cost payment processing alternatives to Stripe?

Should I charge VAT for every purchase from my app?
https://www.paddle.com/ is one example that handles taxes for SaaS apps like mine. But here's the thing: I am using https://www.mollie.com/ for online payments as well. Does Mollie also provides the functionality as Paddle does? I gues snot because I haven't seen Mollie website mentioning things like handling taxes and such. It sucks to use both of them when it comes to payments.

Show HN: List of Stripe Alternatives
Seems like every time there's a negative Stripe story on here, the inevitable question, "any alternatives?" gets asked. Hell, I was tempted to ask myself. Instead, I decided to search hn.algolia.com to see for myself what others have recommended in the past.
Might as well share the list with y'all, make it meta.

Observations from my data collection:
Sassy appears to have been acquired by FastSpring. Balanced Payments apparently went under but I found another payment service called "Balance" instead. Paymill is defunct but their Github org has a bunch of code. No idea what happened to Spryng Payments but Spryng still exists.
It's also worth mentioning that a true "Stripe alternative" simply does not exist. No one does everything they do and I'm pretty sure most services are lacking in the developer documentation department. Still, having options is always great.

Using mollie as a payment service
Your best best for now is probably to use the PHP API client directly: https://github.com/mollie/mollie-api-php.

Show HN: List of Stripe Alternatives
Hey, there's Stigg (http://stigg.io/) and its like an abstraction layer on top of billing for SaaS. I think it counts as an alternative to killbill in some way.

For us in FlyCode it's Stigg (https://stigg.io). Really streamlined the way we manage subscriptions and define pay blocks.

Show HN: No-code designer to quickly customize pricing widgets
Hi HN community, we’re a team of engineers trying to reduce the amount of time developers have to spend on building and maintaining SaaS pricing. As such, we’ve created a set of widgets, engineering teams can use to add pricing page paywalls, in-app paywalls, and self-service customer portals out of the box.
To make it even easier, we’ve just launched our no-code designer, allowing any team to match our widgets with your branding - typographies, colors, and spacing.
You can check it out here www.stigg.io/blog-posts/introducing-stiggs-no-code-designer
And play with our example project here https://github.com/stiggio/stigg-example-todos
