Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.

What library or tool is causing you the most pain right now?
That is the case for many custom hooks you could build. Sure, you can find libraries implementing those for you, but it doesn't change the fact that React apps still relies a lot on useEffect hook.
