Lunar Client has less FPS than Optifine.
I don't think you can fix the problem by allocating ram, but someone made a fork of lunar that works exactly the same but with better memory handling and the option to not load cosmetics and emotes: https://github.com/Aetopia/Lunar-Client-Lite-Launcher
