Greenhouse App: Raspberry Pi to Android
Check mine out here: https://github.com/furrbz/microgarden I built something similar, but it emails me periodically instead. I also upgraded from DHT sensors as the humidity gets easily saturated and then they're not accurate. I bought an EZO-HUM from Atlas Scientific instead. I'm almost done with version 2.0, which has relays for a DIY aero garden, a pH sensor and a PyQT app running on a little touch screen. Will share once complete.
- Still very beta, but this is how I am handling automation :) Gotta love the Craigslist UI
- Just finished putting all my sensors on a Phoenix connector harness, which in turn connects all sensors to the Pi via a single cat 6.

I finally bought a Raspberry Pi (8gb)! I’m so excited to get started on some projects. You guys and gals have been my inspiration. Feel free to post some first timer ideas.
I just picked up a pi last year, and combined it with gardening. Made an indoor automated grow box for veggies complete with fans, lights, sensors and alerts. Next up is learning hydroponics and automating that. If you're interested in the grow box: https://github.com/furrbz/microgarden

Try RaspAp can make your Rpi act like an Ap. It supports open vpn, ad blocking and more
- Discussion: How do I activate the hotspot in my Python code?
- Discussion: how do I attach the .ovpn file from my VPN provider?
- Discussion: How to create a host/IP whitelist? This is the inverse of RaspAP's ad blocking DNS blacklist feature
