Audio visualization while playing video at the same time?
Is there a way to play video while having an audio visualization in a sub window? I am familiar with the Visualizer LUA script but this script takes over the entire video feed when it's running.

How to have seekable audio with external image and subtitles?
Thank you, this works, but I have to include --vid=1 and disable visualizer.lua otherwise it just shows the visualizer instead of the image.

Display `cava` when opening audio files
Only aware of the https://github.com/mfcc64/mpv-scripts#visualizerlua script, which makes use of ffmpeg's native filters to render audio with a few different spectrum analyzers video display, but it's all very boring-looking at the end of the day.

profile-cond= for all audio files?
it wasn't a typo, i'm using ffmpeg filters for audio files only, the video filters will apply to the visualization from the visualizer script, it looks like this

Try / Ripgrep in Y Minutes
A bit of an aside, but I really like "guides to things we otherwise take for granted". So few man pages are built around example use cases, but those are often what make the case for a tool!
A similar spirit to projects like https://github.com/tldr-pages/tldr/ , but this has a lot more useful detail.
The ripgrep author has a blog post on performance and benchmarking that is an interesting read in itself: https://blog.burntsushi.net/ripgrep/
