Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

have you checked https://mechdb.net/ or https://github.com/help-14/mechanical-keyboard also you need to see what lp you want... since for some keycaps are scarce

recommendation for low budget pcb
I have found two different GitHub repos that have a database of open-source mech keyboards. Most have plate files available as well, I’d start there.
- I'm making a detailed database of all prebuilt mechanical keybords out there

I wanted a beautiful computer and couldn't find one, so I made my own.
I will suggest that Baroque ornamentation was attached to things that were part of the function of the object, but you have hidden all the electronics that make your computer function inside its (yes, beautiful) case. Those electronics have an intricacy and a beauty all their own, even if their appearance is mostly dictated by function and cost. Maybe it's not what you're going for, but see for example the DISCIPLINE keyboard for an example of bringing the electronics to the forefront, and positioning them with attention to artistry and not only function.

Comparing Hobby PCB Vendors
There are other benefits: A PCB design can be shared so that others can fabricate it themselves. (Or modify it if they wish). A PCB design will likely have a schematic, too, which can be studied.
I'd also bet that PCB projects are more likely to inspire better PCB projects. -- Or at least, the domain I've tried my hand at has been PCBs for custom mechanical keyboards.
e.g. I've seen boards inspired by https://github.com/hsgw/plaid such as https://github.com/coseyfannitutti/discipline or https://github.com/rtitmuss/torn and I think there are several popular split keyboard designs which basically descend from https://github.com/MakotoKurauchi/helix
- PCB manufacturer is asking to make changes to my board, will they make it stop working.

I made an ortholinear pcb to fit a Protozoa P02 case, with a giant knob.
Thank you! What do you want to know? The case is designed to fit a Discipline PCB, I designed a new PCB (and plate), which uses the same ATMega32a and a very similar circuit but redesigned from scratch to fit an ortholinear layout while still being compatible with the case. The big knob is set up with a smooth (ie no detent) encoder which complements the extra weight nicely (it spins well!). It's set up for scrolling at the moment but I'm going to add some different functions for different layers. The other two knobs control volume and undo/redo, and have a more usual detent decoder. Keycaps are DSA Historic... That's all I can think of!

Discipline with custom acryl plate
Hey there, I have downloaded the file for the acrylic plate from github. https://github.com/coseyfannitutti/discipline Somewhere there is the correct plate. But watch out, there are also top plates for a different acrylic case.
