Help with "Formula-like" package
Don’t know about spreadsheet functions, but here’s a good package to achieve safe mathematical calculations using strings. You should be able to write your own classes using this https://github.com/madorin/matex

thanks for the reply! im pretty new to this, so not really. you can take a peak at the source code (https://github.com/leongrdic/php-smplang/blob/master/src/SMPLang.php). it's pretty short and simple but I'd say parsing is pretty strict. I also think I've managed to make the exception message quite useful. let me know what you think if you manage to take a look!
