materia-kde VS kde-stuffs

AFAIK the default theme, at least for GNOME, is now Materia-dark. Would be an easy process to make it the new default theme for Budgie and MATE with the upcoming ISO refresh. The only things about it that kind of blow are that we're going to lose the "true black" which Plata-noir provided, as well as how it could be implemented for KDE Plasma (Materia KDE doesn't seem like an elegant solution)

install Materia kde and set it as global theme. Double check to see if plasma theme is selected to materia. You might as well log out and log back in.

Broken windows titlebars and widgets after resume from suspend/hibernate, but turns out it's a known issue (thanks to u/Matty_R for mentioning it)). No issue with titlebars if I stick with stock Breeze windows decorations. I'm using Monochrome KDE and it also occurs with Materia KDE. Widgets can be fixed too with that method but it's a hacky workaround.

I've installed the Materia KDE theme on a fresh installation of Kubuntu 20.04.2 along with kvantum and I realized that when I lock the screen, it is not working correctly, only shows a wallpaper but not the login controls so I'm not able to login again.

One example for me personally is that I like to use this custom Plasma theme, Adagio, and it isn’t available in the KDE Store nor any repos AFAIK. So I have to place the files manually in /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/org.kde.breeze.desktop/contents/lockscreen/, which requires root. A Linux veteran could easily do it with the terminal but someone like me who’s tech savvy but unfamiliar with the terminal would have a significantly easier time doing it in a GUI.
