On the GN software, I would select 'node', 'delete node database'. Kill the client and restart. It will take quite some time to download all the ~ 1mm blocks of the database but it will be clean. IF THAT DOESN"T work, go to the disk location of where the database resides (during install was either default or changed) and delete it. Restart.
