Weekly "ask anything" thread
In summer I have more free time. How find something in which invest that time? The libraries I usually use are too big or too dead for do something. And my experience is lacking in doing colaborative work or working with git. I read about write something that fix or solve something that I need, and because that I wrote a package. But of course, only I uses that package. And I dont find any feature to add or nothing to fix. No request of course.
Is used in the "order" method of this class https://github.com/marioquartz/making-sessions/blob/master/src/ItemList.php This class is common to two types "EventList" and "SessionList". So, no container, no DI. There are two ways to comply with Psalm: repeat the method only changing one line or using a string for calling the class. There are a third option apart from changing psalm config?
- Searching package/something that converts a list of "events" in sessions

Fermat v2.0 released - Arbitrary precision math with support for difficult math functions
So it's been a few years since I've posted about my math library, Fermat. It's also been a few years since I've worked on it at all. A big part of that is that the library was getting too large and complex for one person to reasonably keep track of. This complexity also makes it more difficult to use, in my opinion.
What are some alternatives?
Roster - A PHP tool to generate templateable markdown documentation from the docblocks or type-hints of your codebase.
Brick\Math - Arbitrary-precision arithmetic library for PHP
UnleashSDK - PHP implementation of the Unleash protocol
nim-stint - Stack-based arbitrary-precision integers - Fast and portable with natural syntax for resource-restricted devices.
Mason - A PHPDoc docblock interpreter that is simple, easy to use, and provides Attribute alternatives.
EUL - The mathEmatics Useful Library (the name is a work in progress) is a math general purpose c++20 header library that, among other things, features a big integer implementation.
statistics - PHP package that provides functions for calculating mathematical statistics of numeric data.
FermatCoordinateSystems - This is a module that provides coordinate systems for Fermat.
FermatStats - A module for Fermat that adds statistics.
