macOS users, how do you launch your LEGO Universe client?
I’d recommend installing one of Gcenx’s wine-crossover builds. I use the MacPorts overlay since I use MacPorts heavily on my system, but if you just want a normal binary download you can get one here.

Alternatively you’d need to install macports with my overlay https://github.com/Gcenx/macports-wine this overrides a number of packages to allow building wine-stable, wine-devel & wine-staging for OS X 10.8 > macOS Ventura.

How can I update wine stable on MacOS?
If the OP wants to built wine from source I do maintain a Macports overlay Macports-wine, or they can use the packages in currently maintaining as link in my other comment.

WineBottler keeps saying no internet connection on Mac.
If you really have no other option use macports along with my overlay Macports-wine this will gets you running modern versions of wine and should also have it connecting properly.

Trying to game on MacbookM1.
I get mine through brew >> "brew install --cask --no-quarantine gcenx/wine/wine-crossover" but there is manual install available too https://github.com/Gcenx/winecx

Proton through Steam on MacOS Mojave?
Unfortunately it's unsupported you can use wine https://github.com/Gcenx/winecx which I believe includes dxvk binaries and see if it works or crossover it would be great if proton supported Mac OS as it's made running windows games much easier on Linux
