For people who see snow/static, has the "pattern" ever been affected by what you're looking at? (Especially screens on devices like computers and TVs)
I use the static a lot as a stabilizer in a way. Someone made the VS Relief Overlay application for laptop (https://github.com/belvederef/visual-snow-relief-overlay) and I tried it out and have been using it since when my symptoms flare so I can keep working in those conditions. So far its been the best case of treatment for me.

A novel software solution to eye strain - for those situations where you have to use an emissive display (might not work for everyone)
The package Visual Snow Reilef adds a subtle, transparent static overlay to your window, which for me at least, helps me keep my eyes relaxed while reading an LCD, and stops me instinctively jumping around the screen while reading prose.
