Signal Private Messenger team here, we support an app used by everyone from Elon to the Hong Kong protestors to our Grandpa’s weekly group chat, AMA!
Is there a public roadmap for the open source work I could follow/subscribe to? Really interested in the Node client: https://github.com/signalapp/libsignal-client-node. If not I could just turn on some release notifications for GitHub.

After Flatpak update of Signal in Fedora (w/Gnome), Signal tray icon no longer appears despite me editing ~/.config/autostart/[the autostart file]

Distribution packaging for Linux desktop applications is unsustainable
Now look at Signal on Flathub. It is not by Signal themselves so an attack vector exists. The reason I mention it is because the Signal team got the Signal Snap removed.
