lf-gadgets VS ytfzf

Hi there!, im trying to use lf-yt to search youtube videos inside the terminal using lf - File Manager and ueberzug, it actually works if im using alacritty but it doesnt display thumbnails on st, currently not using a compositor and the patches st have installed are:

Let me take the opportunity to shamelessly plug lf-yt, my very own proof-of-concept perversion of lf which uses ueberzug to preview thumbnails. It currently requires a youtube API-key, a dependency which I'll remove asap. I've only learned that you don't need that.

I've been playing with ytfzf recently which is quite cool for browsing yt on grim hardware

Sounds like you need an adBlocker. And/or alternative ways of watching YT content. Not exactly sure how this works on other OSs, but on Linux I use ytfzf to browse, and mpv to watch by youtube link.

YouTube: in Browser is a pain but ytfzf works well for me.

I am using ytfzf with a custom interface that I wrote in python because I couldn't find an interface that supports sixel.

fzf has long found its way into many scripts, a bit like dmenu. My favorite: ytfzf.
