Sure, php has a module for IMAP, POP3 and SMTP operations: https://www.php.net/manual/en/book.imap.php In case you don't want to implement all the details yourself, you can also check out any of the various pop3/imap libraries for php e.g. https://github.com/Eden-PHP/Mail (is the first one I found, I have no experience with it, looks alright though)
