Automating updates from Upstream Source images
We are always actively working on the configuration for Renovate and will continue to fine-tune it. Having pull requests created for every upstream version change will also optimise the generation of automated changelogs (using the excellent Release Drafter GitHub Action we were already using on Lagoon).

Cloud Noob to Cloud Native
Within the first week, we walked through building one of the many Lagoon examples on my local machine - In this instance I got to dive back into the wonderful world of Drupal (something I had not touched since high school). This was a fantastic introduction to images and containers, and how they work within Docker.

Improving image-specific testing with actual examples
At the same time as completing the work on Lagoon 2, we have been working hard on a set of example projects for Lagoon – covering a wider range of frameworks, content management systems, and situations than previously. We have gathered these examples over at https://github.com/uselagoon/lagoon-examples as Git submodules to the source repositories and branches.
