This is not great for multi-tenancy, but you can correct this with NetworkPolicies.

I'd recommend using this collection of network policy recipes to test out these 2 tools and see how they can be helpful to your workflow.

I created https://github.com/dj-wasabi/vagrant-kubernetes to do this. From an administrating p.o.v. this helped me to build and maintain an kubernetes cluster locally. Doing installations, adding new nodes, remove nodes, but also upgrade a cluster.
