bgkeeb - cheap (or free!) split pcb with a lot of features! see post comment for details
I'm aware of other keyboards smaller than 100x100. https://github.com/peej/for-science-keyboard or https://github.com/MasayukiFukada/kotonoha_keyboards (and others). ... ;) I like the allure of "you can save a few dollars on PCB fabrication". -- Most of these small boards don't opt to go for the fancy per-key RGBs.

Are there any ergo keyboards with some added distance between keys?
Honorable mention: kotonoha-wabisabi.

cost of building
https://github.com/MasayukiFukada/kotonoha_keyboards has some small designs. this (and some of the others?) from this list: https://github.com/BenRoe/awesome-mechanical-keyboard/blob/master/docs/README.md

34-key keyboards out there
The wabisabi sounds like it'd suit your tastes. https://github.com/MasayukiFukada/kotonoha_keyboards

Are we ever going to get another revision of the Planck?
Why not print your own "planck" pcb, like the Contra? https://github.com/ai03-2725/Contra

Need some open source ortholinear PCB
ai03's Contra Cartel is open source. https://github.com/ai03-2725/Contra

[IC] Contra Improved: Contra 40% with USB C Input and RGB Underglow
Hello Everyone, So I've decided to run an IC for Contra 40% board(https://github.com/ai03-2725/Contra). It'll be a modified PCB based on Contra 40 PCB to support USB C and RGB underglow.
- I love my plank 40% Ortho board... But I really want Bluetooth
- 40% cheap ortho pcb

Damnit, I’m about to step in the rabbithole: Making the most minimalistic keyboard myself - a 40% daisy40, bm43 or jj40? Keychron is my gateway drug. Willing to learn soldering.
Check out the Ai03 Contra. It's a 12x4u open-source board. You could try using the NiceNano microcontroller (instead of pro micro) to add wireless functionailty

Fully-wireless setup ready for the office
Yep, 40% ortho. It's actually an open-source board (not created by me), so you can order the pcbs if you're interested in building one yourself. https://github.com/ai03-2725/Contra
