Nice! jsonnet is my go-to language for anything related to configuration, after having tried json, yaml, TS, edn, and tasting dhall and toml. It addresses all problems in the article and more.

the composition strikes a good balance between extensiveness and ease of use.

the generated json leads to easy and portable data, and if you write jsonschemas from jsonnet, tools like json-schema-to-typescript [1] make it easy to import a consistent interface, and almost every language has a reasonably up-to-date validation library.

Take a look at https://github.com/bcherny/json-schema-to-typescript, too. I used it successfully at a previous job. IIRC, I had to write some code to convert OpenAPI to JSON Schema but it wasn’t onerous

I'm messing around with a process to convert JSON schemas to TypeScript interfaces using json-schema-to-typescript. I have a little under 900 JSON files each containing a schema, totaling about 3.5 MB.

Hi I'm working with trpc + nextjs app dir (unsupported by trpc currently) and trpc context

It is. But RSC make many library authors and maintainers question whether their library is still needed in a RSC world and if so how they can support it. Same story with tRPC https://github.com/trpc/trpc/issues/3297

Also, while trying to debug this, and this is way outside my league but I noticed this: Is there possibly an error in the Updater TS-definitions in https://github.com/trpc/trpc/blob/main/packages/react-query/src/shared/proxy/utilsProxy.ts at lines 155+156 & 167+168 because they are duplicate-lines and seems to be where my issues are coming from.

Unfortunately, tRPC and NestJs do not play well together by default, and the tRPC team does not intend to integrate the two through an official plugin for the time being.
