jest-codemods VS enzyme

jest-codemods helped us a lot moving from Jasmine to Jest, removes most of the manual work

No Yes Found an issue on github here: https://github.com/airbnb/enzyme/issues/389But solutions from that issue isn't working too.How do you change select's value in tests?

I've been using Jest and Enzyme to write tests for my React components build with the awesome Styled Components library.

I have a React Component that implements the shouldComponentUpdate method and I'd like to unit test it. Ideally I could change some prop or state on the component in a unit test and verify it either re-rendered or not. I am using enzyme if that helps.

From the Enzyme docs shallow, render, and mount are described, but when to use which method?
