Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Are you all nuts?
For whatever reason, Vim distros tend to die off. I started with Janus in 2014. But some things in that distro are badly dated (CtrlP and Syntastic for example).

What "set and forget" flexible VIM setup would you recommend?
When I started with Vim (2011), i used https://github.com/carlhuda/janus It came with a much of good defaults, conventions, and setup. It hasn't had active development lately. I used Janus for about 2 years before I was comfortable enough to start my own setup from the ground up.

Memray – A Memory Profiler for Python
I'm probably not the average python programmer.
But I normally just create two terminals (I have a tiling window manager) and in one I open a python file under /tmp/ write my code and execute it in the other terminal.
I would probably use a REPL if it was integrated in my favorite editor ( https://helix-editor.com ).

Interesting to see how they are gonna approach integrating plugins/extensions system, because this is likely gonna be one of the major factors affecting adoption and ecosystem growth.
Helix devs, for instance, lean towards a Scheme-like implementation. [1]
