Mod for writing on maps?
It doesn't use Steam workshop but if I can handle the manual install, I'm sure most other people can as well, scroll down for instructions. It's from the same person who did Infomod and Bestiary, both invaluable resources to me as well.

Daily Slay the Spire Discussion (124/696): Colorless Potion
My mistake, it's not Minty Spire but actually InfoMod that does this https://github.com/casey-c/infomod2

What mod is Baalor using to highlight his path choices?
Like my other major project InfoMod2 (https://github.com/casey-c/infomod2), it is not yet on the workshop yet. There are a number of reasons why it's not on Steam yet, but basically the major one is that I got a bit burnt out on Slay the Spire and never got around to it :(

Baalorlord just hit a 16 rotating win streak with an Ironclad win
If you find nothing wrong with players keeping track of these things with a pen and paper then I don't think it makes sense to be against Infomod. Otherwise you are simply making life a touch more annoying for StS streamers.

Only played 10 runs best tips to take in to account
Some QoL + educational mods I recommend (mods only available if you play on PC): Infomod 2 (only available on ojb's github: https://github.com/casey-c/infomod2), Bestiary, Map Marks (only available on ojb's github: https://github.com/casey-c/mapmarks), Highlight Paths (alternative to Map Marks, the former is my personal preference), Dark Map, Run History Plus, Minty Spire, Curses Come First, Dome Visualized, Pellets Indicator, Relic Stats, Block Reminder, Shopping List, Intent Graph (somewhat redundant if you use Bestiary but nice visual), Better Animation, AchievementEnabler (required if you want achievements while using mods).
- Ah the classic 9 relics before slime boss
- My most degenerate Dead Branch deck featuring turn 1 kill on Transient

I was so scared of Runic Dome, but it got me my 1st Watcher Heart win!
Also, the same person who did Bestiary also did Infomod. For me, this is absolutely invaluable. Show potion chance, likelihood of what the next ? is going to be and card rarity chances. It's not on steam workshop tho, but has a helpful installation guide if you scroll down.

Hi y'all! I started slay the spire ~20h ago, very much liking it, is there any mod that pretty much everyone can and should enjoy from the beginning of the game?
Relic stats, better animations, dark map (if you prefer it), ojb's better paths, ojb's infomod 2, minty spire, curses come first, block reminder, bestiary, colored map (also just preference), shopping list, and, of course, achievements enabled. Most of these are on steam workshop, except for ojb's better paths and infomod 2, which are only on his github https://github.com/casey-c/sts_betterpaths https://github.com/casey-c/infomod2

like the slay the spire mod, this would also then highlight which node you choose at the crossroads

how do you download slay the spire mods? any good ones to recommend?
There are some mods that are not available on the workshop, like mapmarks, which Baalor uses. You have to download the file from the github page and manually copy the jar files into the slaythespire Mods folder
- I didn't know the Gremlinleader was considered a Boss. Good to know

Baalorlord's Mods
We're using a mod called Map Marks by ojb to draw on the map and highlight map nodes! Baalor's coloring logic: !path - https://github.com/casey-c/mapmarks

Mod for writing on maps?
I don't know about jorbs but I use Map Marks. You can highlight nodes in a bunch of different colors by single-clicking, draw lines with your map as you see fit, or literally write "hexa is a poopoohead" on the map.
