header-footer-elementor VS proelements

To extend the free version of Elementor you should install the Elementor Header & Footer Builder to create you own header/footer templates. And I've made an own plugin to create templates for custom post types: Custom post type templates for Elementor. This allows you to style e.g. news posts without buy the Pro version.

But you have the backend, we don't :-) So we can just guess, you can look. Elementor Pro? Use the Template Builder to create a header. Normal Elementor: use https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-footer-elementor/

Aside from BlueSky's eloquently put advice, there are certainly things you can do. I have built many amazing sites using only free plugins (when I first started out and was poor) You just have to search for what you need. Google is your friend. The free version of Elementor doesn’t allow you to do headers and footers. There is, however a plug-in by Brainstorm Force that adds this functionality. https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-footer-elementor/

oke, I am also learning/using Elmentor free version, but never tried it. I did use another free plugin [Link], and here is the tutorial link

Out of the box I'm not sure this level of customization is possible. But one way would be to use a plugin like Elementor Header & Footer Builder . As I remember it lets you create a header and decide where it should appear (pages/posts) and also on which of those it should appear. Although it requires Elementor to be installed, the pages don't have to be built with Elementor.

Its under the GNU General Public License and has a github. Additionally, Elementor has large developer support to the community, with huge variety of free and paid plugins out there that extends its support. I am not a lawyer, but nothing is stopping developers on making their own plugins that extends the support on Elementor. This is just one of them that emulates the same things Elementor pro has.

Also, if you check the changelog on the github repository (link), the available version is 3.3.1 and about 6 months old, while the latest version of the plugin is 3.5.2 (link), which will contain the latest updates and security fixes.
