As a developer, it can be difficult to stay on top of everything happening in the field. Hackertab makes it easy by allowing you to customise your default tab page to include news, tools and events from top sources such as GitHub Trending, Hacker News, DevTo, Medium, and Product Hunt.

I know the feeling - I was searching for a way to keep up with the latest development trends for my favorite tech stack (Android, TypeScript, Ruby) without having to switch between multiple websites. But I couldn't find a solution that worked for me, so I created one called Hackertab. Every day, I auto gather content from the best sources out there (like Dev.to, Hacker News, and this subreddit!) and organize it by programming language or topic. Currently im using Hackertab extension it has all the tech news in one place, you can customize it on your interests. And it saves you a lot of time.

Almost one year ago, I launched Hackertab, a browser extension that allows developers to stay up-to-date with the latest tech happenings in an easy way, the tool gatters articles, tutorials, repositories, jobs, events… and filter them by users interests.

Then to get a more readable domain name, I tried to the domain brandon-hoffman.is-a.dev with the repo/project: https://github.com/is-a-dev/register.

I know of js.org, js.cool, is-a.dev, runs-on.tech, thedev.id, js.cool, mod.land, etc, but I really want a "js dot something" subdomain and js.org AND js.cool both have requirements that I cannot meet.

If you're just serving static content, GitHub Pages (host) + is-a-dev (domain name) is a pretty good combo. Otherwise, I agree with what's already been said in other comments so reference them.
